What is a Medical Spa?

A medical spa, often referred to as a med spa or medi-spa, combines the luxury and relaxation of a traditional day spa with the advanced procedures and clinical expertise of a medical practice. Under the supervision of a licensed medical professional, a med spa offers treatments that go beyond surface-level aesthetics to address deeper skin concerns, support anti-aging goals, and enhance overall skin health.

Unlike a conventional spa, a medical spa provides access to evidence-based treatments such as injectables, laser therapies, medical-grade skincare, and other non-surgical cosmetic procedures — all performed in a safe, professional environment. This fusion of clinical precision and spa-like care allows clients to enjoy both visible results and a restorative experience.

What is the difference between a Day Spa and a Medical Spa?

While day spas focus primarily on relaxation and surface-level treatments such as massages, facials, and body wraps, a medical spa (or med spa) offers advanced aesthetic procedures that are clinically driven and results-oriented. Under the supervision of licensed medical professionals, med spas provide non-surgical treatments designed to correct and enhance the skin and overall appearance.

Aesthetic medicine encompasses a wide range of minimally invasive treatments that do not require surgery or general anesthesia. These services may include injectables like Botox®, Juvederm®, Liquid Lipo, and Sculptra®, laser hair reduction, skin resurfacing, acne therapy, and other corrective procedures. Med spas are ideal for individuals seeking measurable improvements in skin tone, texture, and aging concerns—delivered in a safe, medically regulated environment.

How do I make an appointment?

Appointments can be conveniently scheduled online through our appointment portal, or by contacting our front desk directly at (406) 201-1970.

To reserve your appointment, a valid credit card is required at the time of booking. While your card will not be charged at the time of scheduling, a fee may be applied for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice or for missed appointments. Please see our cancellation policy for full details.

We recommend scheduling future appointments in advance, especially for evenings, as these time slots tend to fill quickly.

All scheduled appointments will be confirmed via email or phone 24–48 hours in advance. Please ensure we have a valid email address on file. Booking an appointment constitutes acceptance of our scheduling and cancellation policies.

When should I arrive?

We kindly ask that all clients arrive 10–15 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment, especially if you are a new client or scheduled to see one of our medical providers. As a medical spa, we require new patients to complete a brief medical history and consent form before treatment.

For appointments involving dermal fillers, neurotoxins (such as Botox), laser treatments, or advanced chemical peels, we recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early to allow ample time for skin preparation and to ensure your treatment begins promptly.

Appointment Policy

Please note: Our system requires a credit card to be added to hold your appointment. Your card will NOT be charged at the time of booking. We encourage you to schedule at least two weeks in advance or upon checkout of a current service to reserve the most convenient time for your schedule.

Cancellation & Late Appointments Policy

24-Hour Notice Required
If you need to cancel an aesthetic appointment, please contact us 24 hours in advance of your scheduled time. All cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the scheduled service for facials/lasers/peels, $250 for neurotoxin appointments, and $300 for Sculptra and filler appointments.
Patients arriving more than 10 minutes late will incur a $100 fee and will be rescheduled.
